Liability for Contents
The contents of our pages have been created with the utmost care. We cannot take any responsibility for the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the contents. As a service provider, we are responsible according to Section 7 Para .1 of the TMG (German Telemedia Act) for our own content under the generally applicable laws. According to Sections 8 to 10 TMG, as a supplier of services, we are not obliged to monitor transmitted, transferred or stored third-party information, nor investigate circumstances suggesting illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general laws remain unaffected. However, this liability only applies from the point in time when a concrete infringement of the law becomes known. As soon as we become aware of relevant breaches of the law, we will remove the content immediately.
Liability for links
Our site contains links to external websites over which we have no influence. For this reason, we cannot accept liability for third-party content. The respective provider or operator of any linked site is always responsible for its contents. These sites were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking to them. They contained no apparent illegal content at the time of linking. Any permanent control of linked pages is unreasonable without any concrete evidence of a violation. We will immediately remove said links on being notified of such violations.
The content and work on pages created by the site operators are subject to German copyright law. The reproduction, adaption, distribution and any form of exploitation outside the limits of copyright law require the written consent of the respective author or creator. Downloading and copying these pages is only permitted for the purposes of private, non-commercial use. Insofar as the content is not created by the website operator, the property rights of third-parties will be complied with. Third-party content is specifically marked as such. Nevertheless, we would ask to be notified accordingly should you become aware of copyright infringement. We will immediately remove said content on being notified of such violations.
Using Facebook plugins
Our website uses plugins from the social networking site, facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). Plugins can be recognised on the Facebook logo (white ”f” on a blue tile or a “thumbs up” sign) or are labelled as a “Facebook social plugin”. A list and appearance of Facebook social plugins can be viewed here: developers.facebook.com/plugins. If you access a website containing this plugin, your browser will form a direct link to the Facebook server. The content of this plugin is transferred from Facebook directly to your browser and incorporated by this in the website. We therefore have no influence over the data which Facebook retrieves as part of this plugin and hereby inform you of our state of knowledge: By incorporating plugins, Facebook receives information that you have accessed the corresponding page on our website. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can associate your visit with your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example using the “like” button or by posting a comment, the corresponding information will also be sent immediately to the supplier’s server and saved there. If you are not a Facebook member, there is still a possibility that Facebook may retrieve and store your IP address. Please see the supplier’s data protection statements for the purpose and scope of the data collection, and the supplier’s further processing and use of the data, as well as your rights in this regard plus setting options to protect your privacy on Facebook: www.facebook.com/policy.php. If you are a Facebook user and do not want Facebook to collect information about your website use and associate this with your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook prior to visiting our website. It is also possible to block Facebook social plugins with browser add-ons, for example by using the “Facebook blocker”.
Use of widgets
Through the Wetteronline widget, general information is collected automatically (i.e. not via registration) that is not personally identifiable (e.g. Internet browser used, number of visits, average time spent, pages viewed). This information is used to improve the attractiveness, content and functionality of the widget. No further use or disclosure of your data takes place.
Use of Google Analytics & remarketing
Third parties, including Google, display adverts on internet websites. Third parties, including Google, use stored cookies to display adverts based on a user’s previous website visit.
