Summer toboggan run
In the neighbouring town of Saalfelden, the 1.6 km-long summer toboggan run guarantees fun and action for the whole family! The adventurous ride through the valley features 61 bends, 3 jumps and an altitude of 345 metres. The “Maisiflitzer” alpine high rope course in Kaprun is jam-packed with power and fun! The Maisiflitzer is also open all year round.
Reservoirs in Kaprun
The impressive Kaprun reservoirs are set amongst the Hohe Tauern National Park and its magnificent mountains. The journey there on modern busses is an adventure in itself! Ferleiten Wildlife and Leisure Park
The Ferleiten Wildlife Park is situated in front of the toll booth to the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. Around 15 hectares of wildlife park are home to more than 200 alpine animals. From red deer and fallow deer to marmots, brown bearsand wolfs : everything can be found here. A walk around the park takes around one hour and has paths suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs!
Grossglockner High Alpine Road
Probably the most famous of all the alpine roads takes you to Austria’s highest mountain, the 3,798 metre highGrossglockner and itsglaciers, the Pasterze. With over 48 km and a total of36 bends , the journey is home to an impressive nature and driving experience which is loved most of all by bikers! An unforgettable experience at the top of Austria!
